To begin, simply tap the screen when the swinging claw is aimed at a target you want to retrieve. The claw will extend and grab whatever it hits first. Larger items like big gold nuggets are worth more but take longer to pull up. Diamonds are small and fast but extremely valuable. If you accidentally grab a heavy rock, you can use a dynamite stick (if you have one) to destroy it and save time.
Your goal is to reach the "Target" score shown at the top of the screen before the "Time" reaches zero. Success moves you to the next stage, while failure ends your mining career. Use the shop between levels to prepare for tougher challenges!

Check for a rock in front of the treasure because the claw grabs the first object it reaches. Compare value with retrieval time when the countdown is low; a large nugget may take longer than the remaining time allows.
A valuable target is not useful if another object blocks the claw path.
