Merge Ball: the selected ball decides where the upgrade remains
Merge Ball makes the selected position part of the move. The matching group disappears around that ball, its value advances by one, and balls above the cleared area fall. Before tapping, consider both the upgraded ball and the pieces that will descend beside it.
Controls
Mouse/Touch: Simply tap or click on any numbered ball that has at least one identical neighbor to clear the group and upgrade the clicked ball.
The selected ball decides where the upgrade remains
In Merge Ball, your success depends on your ability to read the board. The grid is filled with various numbered balls (2, 4, 8..). Look for areas where two or more identical balls are touching. When you tap on a ball that is part of a group, all its connected identical neighbors are consumed. The ball you clicked will then transform into the next number in the sequence (e.g., if you tap a '2' connected to other '2's, it becomes a '3').
Immediately after the merge, gravity takes effect. The balls located above the cleared area will slide down to fill the empty spaces. This is the most crucial part of the game: you must predict how the balls will land to ensure you don't run out of potential matches. The challenge is to keep merging within the limited space. If you manage your taps wisely, you can clear large sections of the board and set up high-value numbers.
The game ends when no more adjacent identical balls are left on the board. Plan your moves, manage the shifting layout, and see how high you can score!
Innovative Number Growth
Tapping a connected group doesn't just clear space; it upgrades your chosen ball to the next level.
Shifting Grid Mechanics and Pure Strategic Depth
Master the art of the "fall-and-fill" to set up massive chain reactions and combos.
Every tap changes the entire board layout, requiring careful planning to maximize your score.
Keep making adjacent matches and growing values before the board has no valid groups left
Compare different tap positions within the same group; they leave the upgraded ball in different places. Look above the group before clearing it to anticipate the balls that will fall into the gap. Preserve another available group when a move would otherwise leave only isolated numbers.
Diagonal proximity alone does not form a valid neighboring group. A larger group clears more balls, but the selected number still advances by one rather than by the group size.

Questions about Merge Ball
Can I click on a single ball with no neighbors?
No, a ball must be connected to at least one other identical ball (horizontally or vertically) to be clicked and merged.
Why did my number only go up by one?
Regardless of how many balls you clear in a group, the clicked ball always increases by exactly one (+1).
When does the game end?
The game ends when there are no more pairs or groups of identical adjacent balls left on the grid.
