A cleared group changes the next board: blocks fall down, and an empty column lets others slide left. Reading those changes helps build larger scoring groups rather than settling for every available pair.

Compare the target with the board you will leave
Starting your journey in Star Boom is incredibly easy. When you enter a level, you will see a grid completely filled with cute, colorful blocks. Look at the top of the screen; there you will find your "Target" score for the current level. Your primary goal is to reach or exceed this score before you run out of possible moves.
To play, simply look for clusters of two or more blocks of the exact same color that are touching each other horizontally or vertically. Tap on any block within that cluster, and boom! The entire group will pop and disappear, rewarding you with points. The blocks resting above will then fall downward to fill the empty spaces. If an entire column is cleared, the remaining columns on the right will slide to the left to close the gap.
The secret to achieving a high score and beating difficult levels is patience and strategy. Instead of immediately tapping small groups of two or three blocks, try to clear surrounding, unrelated blocks first. This will cause the blocks above to fall, potentially bringing more blocks of your desired color together into one massive cluster. Popping a group of 10 blocks gives you significantly more points than popping two separate groups of 5.
If you find yourself stuck with isolated blocks and no good moves, don't worry! You can use the handy tools located at the top of the grid. Click the "Hammer" icon and then tap any single block you want to smash and remove. Keep popping strategically until you hit the target score to win!
